How many Tesla Gigafactories are currently in operation?
Background
Tesla runs six Gigafactories around the world. Nevada makes batteries and drivetrains, New York builds solar panels. Shanghai produces Model 3 and Y for Asia. Berlin has been Europe's factory since 2022. Austin in Texas is the headquarters and builds the Cybertruck. Lathrop in California makes large Megapack storage units. More factories in Mexico and India have been announced, but are not yet operating.
