How many points does the winner of a Formula 1 race receive?

25

Background

Since the big points reform in 2010, the winner of a Formula 1 race gets 25 points. Places 2 to 10 get 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 points. Before that, the old 10-point system applied (10, 8, 6 and so on). Drivers like Michael Schumacher raced under that system. Since 2019, there's also 1 bonus point for the fastest lap, if the driver finishes in the top 10.
