How many kilograms can the world's strongest man lift in a deadlift?

501

Background

Icelander Hafthor Björnsson lifted a wild 501 kilograms in 2020. That is heavier than a full grown male polar bear. He needed special shoes, a belt and lots of chalk. The lift itself took only seconds, but the training stretched over years.
