At most, how many legs can a millipede have?

1,306

Background

The real record millipede actually has 1,306 legs. The species is called Eumillipes persephone and was only found in 2020 in Australia. It lives deep in the ground and looks very pale. So despite the name almost no millipede has exactly a thousand legs, except nearly this one.
