Background
The world's first solid chocolate bar came from England. Joseph Fry made it in Bristol in 1847. Before that, chocolate was just a bitter drink. Fry mixed cocoa, sugar and cocoa butter together. Switzerland came later with milk chocolate. Belgium too.
