In what year was the League of Nations established?

1920

Background

The League of Nations was founded on 10 January 1920 after the First World War. It was meant to prevent future wars and had its seat in Geneva. The United States, oddly enough, never joined. The League failed in the 1930s and was later replaced by the UN.
