Since June 2024, Inside Out 2 from Pixar has been the highest-grossing animated film of all time. It earned around 1.7 billion dollars worldwide. Before that, Frozen II held the record with 1.45 billion. The film builds on the idea from Part 1: emotions like Joy, Anger or Sadness appear as characters. New ones include Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment and Ennui. It was directed by Kelsey Mann.
