Background
The Kiss measures 180 by 180 centimeters and is a really big square. The painting hangs in the Upper Belvedere in Vienna. Klimt glued real gold leaf onto the canvas. He painted the work between 1907 and 1908. Today it is one of Austria's most famous paintings and decorates countless postcards.
