How old was Mozart when he composed his first symphony?

Background

Mozart wrote his first symphony at just eight years old in London. He was on a big concert tour of Europe with his father at the time. Already at age five he composed his first little pieces. His father Leopold wrote down the notes because Wolfgang could barely write yet. In total he created more than 600 works in his life.
