How many notes can a harpist produce at once?
Up to 10

A harpist uses only eight fingers plus two thumbs. The little fingers are too weak and are not used. So at most ten notes can sound at the same time. A concert harp has up to 47 strings. It also has seven pedals that the player uses to change the pitch.
