Background
Seven penguin species live in Antarctica. The best known is the huge emperor penguin. There are also the Adélie, chinstrap, gentoo, king, rockhopper, and macaroni penguins. They breed on ice or rocky shores. In the freezing water, they hunt for fish and krill.
